We would like to offer our congratulations to London partner and Head of International Arbitration at Olswang Andrew Aglionby who has been invited to join, as a member, the ICC Commission on Arbitration (the “Commission“).

The Commission drafts and revises the various ICC rules for alternative dispute resolution.  These include the ICC Rules of Arbitration, the ICC ADR Rules, the ICC Dispute Board Rules, and the ICC Rules for Expertise. The Commission also produces reports and guidelines on legal, procedural and practical aspects of dispute resolution. The Commission similarly researches and proposes new policies geared towards efficient and cost-effective dispute resolution procedures.

The Commission had recently launched the 2012 ICC Rules of Arbitration and is now reviewing and revising the ICC ADR Rules, the ICC Rules for Expertise, and the ICC Dispute Board Rules.
