CIArb Singapore Young Members 2013 Essay Competition

We are pleased to inform our readers that Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) Singapore and Thirty Nine Essex Street are jointly organising the CIArb Singapore Young Members 2013 Essay Competition.

The 2013 Essay Title is “A regulatory framework for arbitrators and increased arbitral accountability: ideas to reinvigorate arbitration or stifle it?”

This is an extremely relevant topic based on the award winning speech delivered by Singapore’s The Honourable The Chief Justice Sundaresh Menon while he was Attorney-General at the 21st International Council for Commercial Arbitration Singapore Conference in June 2012

Closing date for entries is Wednesday, 15 May 2013 at 5pm. The Essay Competition is open to all persons working or resident in Singapore and under the age of 40 at the date the entry is submitted. Participants need not be members of the CIArb or belong to the Young Members Group of the CIArb.

More details of the Essay Competition and how you can submit entries can be found here.
